HELIOS is a platform to accelerate player and team performance with data analytics and automated shift video.
The HELIOS Core performance sensor uses stride recognition technology and advanced motion algorithms to continuously and automatically benchmark key performance indicators — Speed, Agility, Explosiveness, Balance, Hustle Score, Shift Analysis, Time on Ice (TOI), Stride Load, Heart Rate Analysis and more.
HELIOS automatically converts full-length game video into a shift video playlist for each player saving valuable time, the cost of human review, and creating easy access for individuals and teams.
HELIOS was started by a team of lifelong hockey players and coaches from MIT, Intel, Bauer and the NHL. The company is backed by Ron Francis — NHL Seattle GM, 2x Stanley Cup Champion, Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee and one of the first adopters of hockey analytics inside an NHL franchise.
