From Protecting to Possessing: Developing a More Offensive Mindset

Tobias Johansson, European Scout with the Tampa Bay Lightning, will explore how coaches can develop a more offensive mindset in players by shifting the focus from protecting the puck to possessing it. Using small-area games and possession-based activities, Tobias will demonstrate how practice design can create environments where players are encouraged to make decisions, recognize opportunities, and create solutions based on the situation in front of them.
