Kate Whitman Annis serves as the Executive Director of the Devils Youth Foundation (DYF), representing the New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center, one of the world’s leading arenas. Appointed in October 2021, the New Jersey native leads the day-to-day operations of DYF, including fundraising, grant strategy, special event planning and community partner relationships. In her role, Whitman Annis is responsible for driving positive change by leveraging the powerful platform of sports and entertainment provided by the Devils and Prudential Center.
Kate Whitman Annis brings a diverse background spanning non-profits, public service, and professional sports to her role. With a track record of raising millions for organizations like The Pingry School and the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, she’s an adept fundraiser. As an experienced ice hockey coach, she currently coaches at Eastside High School in Newark, NJ and has held coaching and general manager positions at various levels, including with the Pingry School, the NJ Colonials Girls’ Program, and the NWHL Metropolitan Riveters. Whitman Annis is also VP of Adult Hockey for the AAHA, Associate Coach-in-Chief for Women and Girls in the Atlantic District, and a USA Hockey Coach Developer and CEP Level 5 Coach. Holding a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Business, she resides in Morristown, NJ, with her husband and four sons.
