Dean Seymour is a Player Development Consultant with the Calgary Flames, and the Manager of NextGen Player Development with Hockey Canada, where he leads initiatives aimed at advancing player and coach development across the country. Seymour played junior hockey with the Yorkton Terriers (SJHL), earning all-star honours and a berth in the Centennial Cup before moving on to Northern Michigan University on a hockey scholarship. He went on to enjoy a nine-year professional career across North America and Europe, with stops in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, highlighted by an invitation to the 2001 Spengler Cup.
