Dave Barr is the Head Coach of the Vienna Capitals in the ICEHL. Formerly an Assistant Coach with the San Jose Sharks, Dave’s coaching career began in 1997 with the Houston Aeros in the IHL. He was Head Coach of the Guelph Storm from 2004-2008, and moved to the NHL as an Assistant Coach with Colorado Avalanche in 2008. He has coached the Minnesota Wild, New Jersey Devils, Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers before joining the Sharks’ coaching staff in 2017. His playing career spanned 20 years with stops in the AHL, WHL, IHL and NHL.
