Andrew Lord is the Head Coach of the AHL’s Ontario Reign, currently in his first season. A former ECHL Coach of the Year award winner with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Lord joined Ontario after spending the 2024-25 season as the Head Coach of the QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads. The year prior, Lord completed his fourth season in Greenville, a second consecutive 40-win season, and the fourth straight year with a playoff appearance for the Swamp Rabbits. Lord led the Cardiff Devils of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) for six seasons prior, becoming the winningest coach in franchise history while capturing nine trophies and earning two EIHL Coach of the Year honours. Before entering the coaching ranks, Lord played professionally for 10 seasons in the AHL, ECHL EIHL and Germany’s Second Bundesliga.
