Kris Beech is a former NHL player, Founder of AIM Mindfulness and now Co-Founder of Slip Skill Tech.
Beech was selected 7th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1999 NHL entry draft. He played 7 seasons in the NHL and AHL for the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Nashville Predators, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Vancouver Canucks. Beech also played 8 seasons in Europe (Sweden, Finland, Czech Rep., Germany, Austria, and N. Ireland).
After his playing career, Kris became a Certified Mindfulness Instructor (McLean Meditation Institute 2015) and went on to found AIM Mindfulness. Beech continued his studies and earned a Master’s of Science in Sports Management from Ulster University in 2016. Combining his knowledge of the game and education, Kris began coaching at Delta Hockey Academy as a Mental Performance Coach and Skating Coach, in addition to leading the club’s U15 Prep team.
